THAMES Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help to trace a missing man from High Wycombe.
The man, aged 72, was last seen in Slough on Monday, May 30, but he travelled to Amersham and Maidenhead through the day.
He has since been seen on CCTV at Reading train station at about 6.45am on the morning of Tuesday, May 31, and is believed to be in the Reading area.
He has blue eyes, is about 5ft 5ins tall with a slim build.
He was wearing a large black parka jacket, dark glasses, black tracksuit bottoms with a thick white stripe down the side, dark footwear and was holding an orange carrier bag and a coffee cup.
Detective Sergeant Peter Cave, based at Wycombe police station, said: “We are concerned for his welfare and are appealing for the help of the public in finding him.
“I would urge anyone who may have seen him or anyone with any information about his whereabouts to please get in touch by calling 101 or via our website, quoting reference number 43220235857.
“If you see Philip, please do not approach him but call 101 instead.
“I would also like to reassure him, if he sees this, to please not be worried about coming forward as we just want to make sure you’re safe and well so please get in touch as soon as possible.”
