TWO TEENAGE girls have gone missing and police are appealing for help to try and find them.

Shontae was last seen in Reading on Wednesday, August 23, in the evening. She is 15, white and of slim build. Her height is described as 5ft 5in, and she has long hair dyed black, and hazel green eyes.

She is believed to be wearing a black dress with white trainers and could be carrying a black backpack.

It is thought that she may be with Star, a 14-year-old mixed-race girl from Devon. She is of medium build and around 5ft 6in. It is not known what she was last seen wearing and she and is known to use the railway.

It is believed that Shontae and Star may have travelled to Leicester.

Investigating officer Inspector Sarah Sanderson, based at Reading police station, said: “We are concerned for the welfare of Shontae and Star, who we believe may have met in Reading and may now be in the Leicester area.
