THAMES Valley Police is appealing for help in tracing a wanted man following a string of shoplifting offences.
Jonathon Whitnall, 48, is being sought in connection with shoplifting offences which took place in Shinfield between Wednesday, May 24, and Sunday, August 13.
Whitnall is described as having a slim build, around 5ft 8ins tall, with shaven or short brown hair.
He also has two tear drops tattooed under his left eye.
The public is advised not to approach him, and to contact 999 if they see him.
Investigating officer PC Alex Gomm said: “Enquiries have been ongoing to locate Jonathon Whitnall in relation to this spate of shoplifting but we are now appealing for the public’s help.
“If you see Whitnall, do not approach him and call 999 instead. If you know where he is or may have seen him, please call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43230290610.
“Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
