A READING town centre nightclub is seeking permission from Reading Borough Council to stay open for longer.

Friar Street-based Playlist Live specialises in live music, and opened in November 2020.

It allows guests to make requests for a band to perform.

The venue has a kitchen, and its offerings include a brunch with bottomless drinks of Saturdays.

Its bar has a range of bottles and cans: there is no cellar for drinks on draught taps.

The owners have applied to Reading Borough Council to extend is closing time from 1am to 2am. It is currently open from 1.30pm on Saturdays, and 6pm on Thursdays and Fridays.
