Reading FC Women produced a stunning attacking performance as they cruised to an 11–1 victory over Kidlington Youth in the Southern Region Women’s League Cup.
After taking an early lead, the Royals were briefly pegged back as Kidlington equalised against the run of play — but that only sparked a ruthless response.
Reading quickly regained control, restoring their advantage before the break and never looking back.
The second half was all Reading. The Royals showed their quality all over the pitch, moving the ball with pace and precision to create chance after chance. A flurry of goals followed, with the team demonstrating their cutting edge in front of goal to round off a dominant display.
Kidlington’s early fightback gave the visitors hope, but Reading’s relentless tempo and sharp finishing proved far too much. Eleven goals on the day, a commanding performance, and another big statement from a side full of confidence.
