Reading FC continue to defy the odds despite their off field issues after yesterday’s win over Peterborough earned them a place in the top six.
A flowing move, finished off by an own goal, set the Royals on their way against the Posh as quickfire goals from Harvey Knibbs and Charlie Savage put Reading 3-0 ahead in the second-half before the visitors grabbed a consolation goal.
Having been on the verge of the top six for the past few months, Reading are now in the play-off spots with just eight games to go.
They are on 62 points from 38 games which puts them one point above 7th placed Huddersfield.
Next up for Reading is an away trip to 10th placed Blackpool on Tuesday night.
