JEFF HENDRICK’s unstoppable volley ensured that Reading FC completed a comeback to take a point against Watford.
The Royals found themselves staring down the barrel of a home defeat after the Hornets had taken the lead through Ismaila Sarr and quickly added to their advantage after the break through Ryan Porteous.

However, Paul Ince’s side came fighting back to ensure that they continued their impressive Championship form at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.
Shane Long’s industrious work up top meant that Reading were awarded a penalty to get themselves back in the contest when the Irishman was tripped by Craig Cathcart.
Tom Ince took responsibility from the spot and drilled the ball past Daniel Bachmann into the bottom corner.
After Slaven Bilic’s men had a goal disallowed for offside, which surely would have put the game to bed, the Royals found a rallying cry and hit the leveller with 10 minutes left.
Having scored twice on his last home appearance, Hendrick scored the pick of the bunch when he got on the end of Ince’s corner and rifled a volley past a helpless Bachmann to put the Royals on level terms.
The point means that Reading stay in 16th position in the Championship and face an away trip to Sunderland on Saturday.
