Phoenix Reading Hockey Club will be running a series of Back to Hockey sessions this summer to welcome new and returning players.

Back to Hockey sessions are fun, sociable and informal and are aimed at people who either are looking to play for the first time or who have not played for several years.

Friendly Back to Hockey coaches will guide people through a series of fun and interactive sessions, all in a super-friendly and relaxed environment.

The club believes that the sessions are an ideal way for people to enjoy the social, mental and physical benefits of playing the sport.

The sessions will be taking place at the University of Reading, Shinfield Road RG6 6DJ, at 7pm. The first session took place on June 29 and will run for six weeks.

Bev Jarvis, a Back to Hockey coach said: “We are excited to be running Back to Hockey sessions in Reading over the summer. We know that starting a new activity or club can sometimes feel daunting, that’s why our aim is to create a welcoming environment and enjoyable experiences.”
