PepsiCo UK has moved its headquarters to a new office in central Reading, occupying more than 40,000 square feet across two floors of the ONE Station Hill development. The relocation sees employees leave the company’s previous site in Green Park to move into a modern, sustainable office in the heart of the town.
Situated opposite Reading railway station, the building offers excellent transport links and a range of amenities, including an on-site café, restaurant and bar, a fitness centre, cycle storage, and a private outdoor terrace.
The office has been designed in collaboration with architects HLW and construction firm Overbury to provide flexible spaces that encourage collaboration while reflecting PepsiCo’s brand. The interiors feature vibrant artwork celebrating the company’s products, including Walkers, Pepsi MAX, Quaker and Doritos, with a 24-foot mural by local artist Kev Munday.
ONE Station Hill is an all-electric building, using air-source heat pumps and smart building technology. It targets BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ certification, a Platinum WELL score and an EPC ‘A’ rating.
Jason Richards, General Manager of PepsiCo UK & Ireland, said: “The move to ONE Station Hill marks an exciting new chapter for PepsiCo UK. The building’s facilities and sustainability credentials have enhanced the office experience and inspired more collaborative ways of working.”
The relocation forms part of a wider regeneration of Reading town centre, providing employees with a central, connected location and supporting a “live-work-play” environment.
