COMEDY is promised with a traditional pantomime coming to Shinfield later this month.
Members of Shinfield Players are preparing of the annual post-Christmas showcase. This year, they are presenting Rapunzel, the story of a women locked in a tower by the evil witch Gothel.
She is collecting her prisoners’ tears to keep herself young, helped by her henchfolk Curly and Bob.
Will Trixie Bouffant be reunited with the baby she lost 16 years ago? Will the Captain of the Guard respond to her flirting? And will Frankie remember me?
The show is performed at its Whitley Wood Lane theatre over the weekends of January 12-14 and 19-21.
Curtain up is at 7.45pm on the Fridays, 2pm and 7.45pm on Saturdays, and 2pm on Sundays.
Tickets cost £18, £16 concessions, £11 child, £5 youth group members.
