Saerah, who works at Reading Scientific Services Ltd (part of Mondelez International) was nominated by her line manager Mai for a Cadbury Foundation Purple Heart Award- for her services to charity, namely Pangbourne Rotary Club.
The award from The Cadbury Foundation is worth £5000. Saerah (Past President in 22/23) was delighted to learn that she was one of 14 National winners. Saerah, accompanied by President James Richardson, attended the awards ceremony and lunch on Thursday 19th June at Cadbury’s HQ in Bournville.
The venue was awash with Cadbury products-much to James’ delight, as he returned home with loads for his two young children. Ironically, Saerah is allergic to chocolate.
