A CHARITY that raises funds for good causes has donated more than £6,000 over the past three months.
Members of Pangbourne Rotary Club have given £1,250 to ReadiFood, Reading’s foodbank.
The charity welcomed the donation as they were short on food to put into its emergency parcels offer three days of goods, and were about to go and buy some.
A gift of £500 was given to Purley Sustainability Group to help them build a Community Orchard.
Donations of £250 were given to Tilehurst Craft Group for materials, and to a Christmas toy appeal.
It gave £1,000, matched by Jubilee Day Nursery, to the Morocco earthquake relief fund, while another £1,000 was given to the British Red Cross for its appeal to help people affected by the flooding in Libya.
