The Goats currently have a men’s team which plays in the Reading & District Sunday League.

Their first-team play in Reading Sunday Division Two and finished in sixth position last season.

Meanwhile, their Reserves team, who play in Division Four, also finished in sixth place.

Caversham United’s women’s first-team played in the Southern Region Women’s Division One North in the 2023/24 campaign.

Caversham announced the news last week on X, formerly known as Twitter and said: “Breaking news. For the first time in our history. Caversham United Football Club will field a Saturday team in the 2024/25 season.
