THE NHS in Berkshire has appointed Sandra Grant as new chief people officer following the departure of Caroline Corrigan.

Ms Grant has been working with the ICB for some months as Interim Deputy Chief People Officer.

She will replace Caroline Corrigan who has been seconded to the ICB for the past year.

Ms Grant is an experienced Chief People Officer, working at Board and Executive level within NHS Trusts, ICBs, and at NHSE England South East, having led system programmes within Hampshire and Isle of Wight, Frimley, and Surrey.

The BOB ICB is the statutory organisation that plans, funds, and oversees NHS services for Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and Berkshire, covering a population of 1.8 million people.

It works with with other NHS organisations and healthcare providers, local authorities, and voluntary and community sector, as an Integrated Care System.

Dr Nick Broughton, Chief Executive of BOB ICB said: “I am delighted to announce the appointment of Sandra as our new Chief People Officer.

“Sandra brings a wealth of experience, expertise and understanding of the internal support our organisation needs to thrive–her passion for people and extensive experience in the NHS at both local and national levels make her a great addition to the executive team.

“She will also work closely with our partners across the Integrated Care System to help build a strong, motivated, sustainable and adaptable workforce that can deliver the highest quality care to our patients and the populations we serve.”
