NEXT WEEK, the first tenants will move into a new apartment block built in the heart of Reading.
Ebb & Flow has been created in Station Hill, and will see the people unpacking their boxes from August. They will move into Ebb, with the Flow building expected to open in December.
Native Residential, a build-to-rent company, is behind the development, which it says offers the best in contemporary urban living and high specification buildings.
As well as being in the heart of town, a stone’s throw from the railway station and offering a 24-hour concierge service, the development has roof terraces that offer some of the best views for miles around.
Other facilities include cinema rooms, social spaces and fitness classes.
Ebb & Flow includes spacious kitchens, double-height ceilings and bespoke furniture from The Vawdrey House.
Station Hill is an £850 million project masterminded by Lincoln Property Company and MGT Investment Management. And includes office space, retail and restaurants, two acres of public space and a new walkway that link the train station to the town centre.
Tony Bullen, Ebb & Flow community manager, said: “We’re truly delighted to launch the Ebb & Flow apartment buildings in the heart of Reading’s town centre.
“Our plan is to create a luxury living space for individuals, couples, and families to build their own community within the stunning Station Hill development.
“Reading is a truly thriving town, and we know these apartments will provide a happy home for young professionals and families looking to combine the best of both city and country living.”
