AN increase in workload has seen an increase in staff at THP Solicitors.
Five new faces have joined the firm which has offices in Reading and Henley.
The Solicitors’ Residential Property team welcomes three recruits including Sara Dixon who comes from a law firm in Wokingham. Sara qualified as a solicitor almost 20 years ago and is experienced in handling a wide range of property transactions including sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, non-statutory lease extensions, defects in title and new builds.
Joining Sara in the Residential Property team are paralegal Ellisa Moss, who has a law degree from Oxford Brookes University, and Hannah Sinnerton as a Legal Assistant.
THP Solicitors’ Wills, Trusts & Estate Administration team are also delighted to welcome two new members, including Deborah Clark from a law firm in Reading. Deborah qualified as a Legal Executive in 2012 and specialises in the preparation of Wills, lasting power of attorney and all aspects of probate work, including the administration of complex estates. Coral Morphett has also joined the team as a Legal Assistant.
Partner Rachel Gaylor added: “We are delighted to welcome all of our new members of staff who bring a mixture of skills and experience and will add strength and depth to the firm as demand for our legal services continues without abatement.”
She added that the latest wave of recruitment at the firm demonstrates THP Solicitor’s ability to attract talent despite recruitment difficulties throughout the legal profession.
“We have tried to create a culture capable of appealing to both juniors and individuals with vast experience, providing quality work and a support to help our staff succeed and our clients benefit from their professionalism,” explained Rachel.
The latest recruits means staff numbers are now at 50 and in the last financial year the firm exceeded its targets by over 20%.
