SOUTH Reading residents will have the opportunity to enjoy family-friendly sustainability activities at upcoming community events.
The Museum of English Rural Life (MERL) and Reading Museum are collaborating on their Museum on Wheels project, which will make stops at Whitley and Southcote Libraries.
Visitors and their families can take part in free activities to discover and celebrate natural heritage and add their voices to the MERL’s consultation on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The museum’s creative Our Green Stories campaign explores stories of the changing environment through exhibits and collections in Reading, highlighting ways of building a sustainable future both locally and beyond.
The Museum on Wheels will take place at Whitley Library from 9.30am-11.30am on October 24, and Southcote Library from 10.30am-12.30pm on October 21, and December 2.
Sessions work on a drop-in basis – pre-booking is not required.
