FACE BAR in Reading is set to welcome a Mercury Prize-nominated musician for a gig this autumn.
John Bramwell, formerly of I Am Kloot, is set to perform at the venue, bringing his solo show which follows his new album, The Light Fantastic.
His new work is described as a ‘U-turn’ from the days of I Am Kloot, incorporating strings and four-part harmonies for songs which muse on life, humanity, and the universe.
During his career, Bramwell was nominated for a Mercury Prize for The Sky at Night in 2010, as well as charting in the top 10 with Let It All In in 2013, and multiple UK and European Headline tours.
John Bramwell is performing at Face Bar on Sunday, September 28, from 7pm.
