A TWO-DAY celebration for south Asian culture is coming to east Reading this weekend.
The Reading Mela will be held in Palmer Park and organisers are saying it will be the biggest and best one yet.
There will be a host of perofrmances from international and local singers.
There will also be dancers showcasing a range of styles including Bollywood, street, classical, Punjabi bhangra, and belly.
Children will have their own entertainment to enjoy, including a fun fair.
And there will be a world food corner offering a host of options. It will be near to a shopping village for people looking for a souvenir to take home.
The event runs from noon to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday, and entry is free.
