Police are appealing for witnesses after two armed masked men robbed a Premier Store in Caversham Road on Saturday.
The incident took place between 8:18pm and 8:21pm on Saturday, July 12th.
Police say that one of the offenders produced what appeared to be a black handgun and the other produced a knife.
The masked men demanded that the store worker opened the till and cigarette draw, before they took all the bank notes and cigarettes before leaving.
The victim, a man in his twenties, was not injured.
The first offender is described as white, between 20 and 25, and was wearing a black balaclava with a red design and black jeans or trousers.
The second offender is described as a white man aged around 30 and was also wearing a black balaclava with a red design and black jeans or trousers.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Paul Roche from the West Berkshire Priority Crime Team said: “This was a frightening ordeal for the victim, who, although shaken, was thankfully not injured.
“I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this incident or who may have any information that may assist this investigation to please contact Thames Valley Police.
“I would also ask anybody who was driving in the area and may have dash-cam, to please check this and get in touch if it has captured anything that may help us.
