A MAN has been charged with multiple offences, including robbery, following an incident in Twyford.
David Wright, aged 47 and of no fixed abode, was charged with a count each of robbery and possession of a bladed article in a public place, as well as three counts of vehicle interference, on Tuesday, December 10.
It follows an incident at just after 1.40pm on Monday,December 9, when a man used a pair of scissors to cut a handbag away from a woman.
Though the victim was knocked to the floor during the incident, she was not injured.
Wright appeared before Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, December 12, following which he was released on conditional court bail.
He is now due to appear at Reading Crown Court on January 25.
