PARTS of the M4 have been closed following a road traffic collision.
Thames Valley Police has said that part of the M4 has been closed while they deal with a collision involving a single vehicle on Wednesday, January 10.
The westbound carriageway has been closed between junctions 12 and 13, and is expected to be closed for several hours.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area while emergency services deal with the incident.
Thames Valley Police posted to social media shortly after 10am: “The westbound carriageway of the M4 between junctions 12 and 13 is currently closed following a single vehicle collision.
“The road is likely to be shut for several hours so please avoid the area if you can – thank you for your patience”
