++UPDATE++ The road has now reopened. ++UPDATE++

EMERGENCY services are dealing with an incident at the M4 for the second time in 48 hours.

The area around Junction 11 has been closed to allow officers to bring the unknown situation under control.

A similar problem happened on Saturday, and saw the motorway closed for several hours.

There have also been incidents around Suttons Seeds roundabout on the A4 London Road, which saw emergency services called out.

National Highways said in a tweet:  “The #M4 is closed in both directions between J11 #Reading and J10 #Wokingham due to an @ThamesVP-led incident. Emergency services are on scene. Traffic building in both directions. Please allow extra journey time if in the area today.”
