CLIFF RICHARD would approve – lucky lips are coming to a Reading shopping mall in time to spread the love this February.
Broad St. Mall is running a special promotion from Saturday, February 3, through to Sunday, February 18, to mark St Valentine’s Day.
It is bringing in a new love seat and inviting people to take a photo of themselves with their loved one or bestie.
Shaped like a pair of lips, they will be accompanied by a floral surround.
Taking a seat is free, but there are prizes on offer.
All who share their selfies on Broad St. Mall’s social media channels will be in with a chance of winning a night out for two at Spinners.
There will be a host of contests online between February 3 and 12, with prizes including hampers for a ‘movie night in’, ‘cooking night in’ and ‘games night in’ hampers up for grabs.
And stores and venues in the Reading town centre venue will make a special effort across the month.
Steven Connolly, centre manager Broad Street Mall, said: “We’re excited to have a new ‘lips’ love seat in the centre this year, hopefully bringing the community together to celebrate their love for their bestie or loved one in the centre of Reading.
“We hope everyone that visits the centre in February will stop to take a snap on our beautiful installation during the dates above, and hopefully enter are amazing competitions while they are here, for a chance to win a little extra something special that makes the memories last even longer.”
