ORGANISERS of Reading Festival have announced that one of this year’s acts has pulled out of the event.

Lola Young, singer of hit song Messy, was due to play on Friday when the event returns this summer, but will no longer be able to attend.

In an announcement yesterday (Thursday, July 17), organisers explained that Young would no longer be appearing due to “unavoidable scheduling conflicts.”

They also announced that set times would be going live on the festival’s dedicated app today.

A statement released on social media explained: “Due to an unavoidable scheduling conflict, Lola Young will not be performing at R&L 2025.

“We would like to apologise for any disappointment.”
