Shinfield Rangers under-10 Lionesses are sporting a brand-new kit this season, sponsored by housebuilder Dandara.

With this year’s football league under way, the team will be putting its new kit to use at its home ground, located just five minutes away from Dandara’s latest collection of new homes at Oakwood Place in Spencers Wood.

As part of the Shinfield Rangers Club, the team formed in 2023, takes its inspiration from last year’s England Women’s Euros win.

The Lionesses are a team of 10 girls that play every week and will be sporting their new home kit, represented by Dandara, at training and Saturday matches.

After using the 2023/24 season to brush up on new skills, they’re now match ready with its recent win on its home turf to kick off the new kit.

The support from Dandara will continue to provide vital encouragement for the players.

Will Gilbert, coach for the Shinfield Rangers under-10 Lionesses, said:: “It’s a great time for young girls to get into football, with the England Lionesses paving the way for women’s teams across the country.

“With Dandara’s support, the team is getting the recognition and support they deserve.

“We can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings for the Shinfield under-10 Lionesses, and we’re looking forward to putting their new kits to the test.”

Zoey Rampton, head of sales at Dandara Southern, added: “In the last year we’ve seen a huge surge in support for women’s football, and it’s brilliant to see the Shinfield Rangers under-10 Lionesses begin their football season with our sponsorship.

“With the team’s home ground only five minutes from our new homes at Oakwood Place, we hope residents will come together to cheer on the Lionesses each week.

“We wish the Shinfield under-10 Lionesses the best of luck this season.”
