IMAGES have been released of people police think could help an investigation into a late-night assault in Reading.
The incident occurred around 2.30am on Tuesday, May 2 (Bank holiday Monday night into Tuesday morning) in Friar Street.
Thames Valley Police said that three offenders approached two men in their twenties and started a argument which turned into a fight.
One of the victims had a bottle smashed over his head and then kicked in the head before falling unconscious on the pavement outside Revolucion De Cuba bar, causing multiple bruises.
The other victim was punched to the face, causing a bloody nose.
Both required treatment at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
Investigating officer PC Hannah Potter, based at Reading police station, said: “I would like to appeal to the people in these images, or anyone who recognises them, to please get in touch as I believe they may have vital information about this incident.
“Anyone else with information about the incident who has not already contacted us should also do so.
