Labour’s Olivia Bailey vowed not to let her constituency down after she was elected as MP for West Reading & Mid Berkshire with a narrow win over the Conservatives.

“Thanks and it’s been an honour to be alongside you all. I will not let you down,” said Bailey.

“There are many who voted Labour for the fist time.

“I will work tirelessly to live up to your trust, I will give it all I have got.

“It’s time to end chaos and dysfunction of Westminster.

“Thanks to my wife and two boys. I want my boys to know that if you believe in something then anything is possible.”
