A COMMUNITY GROUP is welcoming residents to attend a consultation session on Saturday, October 1.

Junction Arch Heritage & Arts (JAHA), a project looking to restore and repurpose Cemetery Junction Arch as a heritage and arts hub, are meeting with the community.

The event will provide an opportunity for the group to present their ideas and vision for the future of the arch, while hearing the views of residents.

Having had contractual discussions with Reading Borough Council, JAHA hopes to submit an application to the National Lottery Heritage Fund for a grant to buy the arch.

The meeting takes place from 11am-3pm at Junction Arch, Reading Old Cemetery.
