Reading FC fans have expressed their anger after details for tickets for the FA Cup second-round tie with Harborough Town were released.
Several supporters took to social media to voice their concerns at the price of tickets.
The club announced that tickets will go on sale from 10am on Wednesday, November 13.
Adult tickets will be priced at £15 and £20 if purchased less than four hours before kick-off.
Tickets for 65s and over will be £12 and £15 on the day, £10 for 18-24 and £15 on the day, £6 for 17 and under and £2 for 13 and under.
The announcement left many fans disappointed at the price of tickets for the tie which will see the League One Royals host the non-league outfit who play in the 7th tier of English football in the Southern League Premier Central.
One fan said: “The club have clearly learn nothing from the Fleetwood game? Same pricing, same stadium opening, same restricted seating. How many own goals can this club score, we really are a joke. I thought the club were going to listen to feedback and act accordingly.”
Another fan added: “£15 tickets to watch our youth team and a team lowest ranked in the cup. I actually think there could be more away fans than home fans at this one
Another said: “Shame we aren’t trying our best to get a good attendance for Harborough. It won’t be that special for them as it will be empty.
Another added: “You had a perfect opportunity to get the fans back onside. But no. Remember, you need us more than ever. Goodwill only goes so far.
Another fan said: “Had every intention of going to this but £15 ticket, have to pay to park even though I paid £230 for a car park ST only to have that same s**** as the last FA Cup tie will stop me going now”
