The Island Sailing Club are inviting people to tryout sailing when they host their open day on Sunday, April 28.
The club which is based in Reading will be giving people the chance to try the sport where they can take a trial sail with a qualified sailor.
The event will take place from 11am until 4pm at their Pingewood sailing lake at Searles Farm Lane, RG40 3XB.
The club says: “If you would like to take up sailing as a sport, a hobby or just an exercise in the fresh air, but didn’t know where to start, now there is a great opportunity. The Island Sailing Club is a family friendly club and a RYA training establishment.
“It is completely free, but if you wish to make a lunch time visit there will be a barbecue and refreshments on sale.”
