THE UNIVERSITY of Reading wants to install an information board showing its links with the community.

It would be located at the junction of Shinfield Road and Elmhurst Road at Christchurch Green.

The board is part of an initiative to encourage the closer engagement of the students of the university with their neighbours.

The application can be viewed by logging on to Reading Borough Council’s planning website and searching for 230816.
