A HOMELESS man has been charged with the murder of a man from Reading.
On Wednesday, December 1, David Allen was found dead in a home on Elgar Road.
The 77-year-old’s death has been subject to a murder investigation by Thames Valley Police.
On Thursday, December 9, the force announced that it had charged Jacob Trussler, aged 37, of no fixed abode, has been charged with one count of murder.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court today.
