In a nod to local history, independent business Milk Bar Reading has unveiled its brand-new biscuit-themed cocktail menu, inspired by the iconic Huntley & Palmers biscuit factory that once put the town on the global tea time map.
Famously known as the biscuit town, Reading was once home to one of the world’s largest biscuit manufacturers.
Huntley & Palmers shaped the town’s identity for generations, and now Milk Bar Reading is bringing that rich heritage back to life.
Launching on September 18, the new menu offers a nostalgic twist on cocktails.
Owner Tim Hooper said: “Our beloved Bar is located in one of Reading’s oldest historic buildings.
“With this in mind, we love honouring the rich local history of the town, This, menu is our way of tipping our hat to that legacy.”
