CHRISTMAS music will be performed in a Caversham church as part of its regular concert season.
Professional musicians will team up for the Concerts In Caversham Orchestra, and will be joined by soloists for an uplifting Advent event.
The programme includes JS Bach’s Double Violin Concerto, Zipoli’s Elevazione for oboe and cello, and excerpts from Handel’s Messiah.
There will also be some carols that the audience can join in with.
During the interval, seasonal refreshments will be served including mulled wine and mince pies.
The bar opens from 6.45pm, with the concert at 7.30pm. It takes place on Saturday, December 9 at St Andrew’s Church in Albert Road.
Tickets cost £22, £20 for over 60s, £16 for young concessions, and under 16s can get in for free.
