Children in Reading can enjoy a range of activities this half term at the town’s Better leisure centres, including basketball, table tennis, football, multi-sport and pickleball drop-ins, junior gym sessions, aqua play, diving, and soft play.
“Our Rivermead, Palmer Park, South Reading and Meadway centres will have lots going on to keep children of all ages occupied,” said Steph Smith, Area Community Sport Manager.
She added that children can swim for just £1 at designated times and highlighted parent and toddler splash sessions, family fun swims, and extra activities in soft play areas, such as drawing and colouring competitions.
“Each centre offers a mix of healthy, engaging and affordable options to fill the school holiday with smiles and movement,” she said.
The centres are run by GLL under the Better brand, a not-for-profit social enterprise managing Reading’s leisure centres on behalf of the council.
