THIEVES stole a generator chained to a flatbed van during an overnight raid in Tilehurst.
They cut the chain securing the power device to the van, and made off with it. The item has a value of approximately £3,500.
The robbery was carried out between 11.30pm on Tuesday, December 12, and 7.15am on Wednesday, December 13, from an address in Lamorna Crescent.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward, especially if they have CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage that could help their investigation.
