THE WREN School has congratulated its Year 11 students for completing their studies and collecting their results today.
In a press release, the school commended students on their performance and said they’d “shown a remarkable level of resilience and determination throughout the many disruptions faced over these years.”
The Wren also reported that it has seen increases in student achievement and progress, “with English, Maths and Science all seeing an improvement of over 10%.”
Principal John Salberg said: “We are hugely ambitious for our students and our school. At The Wren we have a mind-set that ‘Better Never Stops’.
“[We] will use today’s outcomes to challenge ourselves and aim even higher as we move onwards on our journey to exceptional, ensuring that our students and our community get the world class education they deserve.
“Thank you to our dedicated and passionate staff who have worked so incredibly hard supporting our students.
“All staff inside and outside of the classroom have worked tirelessly to provide our students with the best possible learning opportunities and experiences.”
he continued: “We are also grateful for the support of our families, our Governors, our local community, and the Excalibur Academies Trust.
“We wish all of our students the very best in their next steps of education, many of whom have chosen to remain with us in Wren Six, where we know that they will grab hold of the opportunities that come their way.
“We know that all will flourish, succeed and thrive.”
