THE HEAD of Bulmershe School in Woodley thanked students, staff and parents for the roles they played in this year’s GCSE results.

More than half of its students gained grade 5 or above in English and Maths, a result Amanda Woodfin said was truly impressive.

And the school was in the 25% of schools across the country in the following subjects: 3D Design, Economics, Maths, Drama, Italian, Russian and Statistics.

“These achievements are a reflection of the collaborative efforts between all students, teachers, parents and the school community as a whole,” she said.
