Reading FC made it back-to-back Championship wins by earning three points against Middlesbrough.
Tyrese Fornah netted the only goal of the game in the 28th minute with a sweet first-timed strike to score his first goal for the club.
The Royals have won all three of their opening home games and despite losing both of their away matches, they are third in the Championship table.
Their next league tests comes away at Millwall next Saturday.
