The Berkshire Adult Autism Support Service is running two free online autism advice workshops for parents and unpaid family carers of autistic adults next month.

The aim of these sessions is to help participants increase their understanding of aspects of autism and their confidence when supporting their relatives.

The workshops are open to all family carers of an autistic adult who is registered as a patient with an NHS GP surgery in Berkshire, including parents, brothers and sisters.

Autism Berkshire’s senior adult autism support mentor, Michelle Errington, said: “These workshops look at key topics that parents and family carers will find useful and share tips that can make a big difference, with plenty of time for questions and discussion.”

The workshops will take place online on Tuesday evenings, between 6pm and 8pm, as follows:

Sensory Differences and Executive Functioning: May 6
