TO CELEBRATE the start of university life, a town centre boutique has a special gift for Reading freshers.
Boux Avenue, located in The Oracle Shopping Centre, is giving away 1,000 pairs of knickers to University of Reading undergraduates who visit its Freshers Fair stall.
The lingerie store says that the first 1,000 freshers to visit the Boux Avenue stand and sign up to their email database will each receive a free pair of knickers.
They will also be given an Exclusive Freshers Discount Voucher to use in store or online post-fair.
The UK lingerie brand, which stocks luxury underwear, is also known for its nightwear, from glamorous satin styles to PJs, cosy robes and slippers.
Undergraduates unable to attend the Freshers’ Fair can still benefit from a 20% discount, available for all students, in Boux Avenue stores and online.
The Freshers Fair will take place at the Marquee on the Meadow, and in the Reading Students’ Union building on Wednesday, September 24.
It starts at 11.30am, but students wanting to sign up for their free gift are advised to arrive early, as last year students queued for hours to receive their pair of knickers from the Boux Avenue stand.
