A PUB CHAIN will offer free baps to anyone who says a secret code phrase this Saturday.
Ahead of England’s World Cup quarter final against France on December 10, fans who say ‘Mmm Bap Day’ at Hungry Horse pubs across the UK can get either a bacon, sausage or Quorn sausage bap for free.
Looking to build on a convincing victory over Senegal, Gareth Southgate’s side will need to contain the tournament’s top scorer, Kylian Mbappe, after whom the promotion is named.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward has already notched five goals and two assists, finding the target twice in France’s 3-1 round of 16 victory over Poland.
Sarah Williams, senior marketing manager for Hungry Horse, said: “While Southgate’s team will be getting ready to fend off Mbappe and the rest of Les Bleus in Qatar, the only thing our customers need worry about is which of the free sausage, bacon or Quorn sausages baps they’ll be opting for.
“At Hungry Horse we’re big on the spirit of generosity, so as football fever grips the nation, it made sense to give that little something extra back to our customers.”
The game will be shown live across over 250 Hungry Horse pubs nationwide, including Victoria Cross, Basingstoke Road; Wee Waif, Old Bath Road; and Running Horse, London Road in and around Reading.
The offer is valid until noon or when breakfast service stops at each pub.
