Former Reading FC star Michael Olise won his first international senior cap for France at the weekend.
The former Reading academy product is one of the brightest young players on the continent and made a big money move to Bayern Munich in the summer from Crystal Palace.
The Royals received around £8million in 2021 when Premier League Crystal Palace activated his release clause.
Olise, who played 73 times for Reading, has made seven appearances for France’s U21s side.
Despite impressing for Palace last season, he was not selected by Didier Dechampds to represent France in the Euros during the summer.
However, he was called up to the senior squad for France’s squad for their Nations League matches. Olise started their match on Friday night as France lost 3-1 to Italy at home before he was taken off just before the hour mark and replaced by Ousmane Dembele.
Olise has made two appearances for his new side Bayern Munich so far this campaign as they look to recapture the Bundeliga title having lost out to Bayer Leverkusen last season.
