Former Reading FC player Tom McIntyre is set to depart Championship side Portsmouth on a loan deal to join League One Bradford City.

McIntyre departed Reading in January 2024 to join Portsmouth, but has had a difficult time since joining the south coast club.

He has managed to make just 13 league appearances for Pompey since joining them and has struggled for game time following their promotion to the Championship.

He joined Charlton Athletic on loan for the second-half of last season and played 10 league games for the Addicks.

He is now set to join League One side Bradford on a season-long loan.

McIntyre made his way through the ranks in Reading’s academy before making his debut for the first-team in 2016.
