Former Reading FC player Matty Carson has become a free agent after terminating his contract at Grimsby Town by mutual consent.
The 22-year-old joined Grimsby on a free transfer after leaving Reading last summer, but only managed to make 13 appearances for the Mariners.
He spent time out on loan at Rafcliffe FC and Alfreton Town during his time at Grimsby.
Carson spent time in the academies of both Liverpool and Burnley before he joined Reading.
He went on to make a total of 17 appearances for the first-team in all competitions before he departed at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.
He is now searching for a new club after departing League Two Grimsby.
