Former Reading FC pair Michael Hector and Terell Thomas have been released by League One side Charlton Athletic.
The Addicks were involved in the relegation battle alongside the Royals this season as both teams managed to avoid the drop.
Both teams finished on 53 points, nine points above the drop zone as Charlton edged out Reading with a marginally better goal difference.
Following the end of the campaign, Charlton have released eight first-team players which includes both Hector and Thomas.
Hector joined the Reading academy in 2009 and made his first-team league debut in a 7-1 victory over Bolton Wanderers in January 2014.
The defender made a total of 54 appearances for Reading before he was snapped up by Chelsea on transfer deadline day in September 2015 for around £4million.
As part of the deal he returned to Reading on loan and made 26 Championship appearances.
His time at Chelsea proved unsuccessful as he failed to make a single appearance for the Blues and was shipped out on loan to Eintracht Frankfurt, Hull City and Sheffield Wednesday before joining Fulham on a permanent deal in 2019.
After three years with Fulham, Hector joined Charlton and played 51 times for the Addicks across two seasons.
Thomas made just two first-team league appearances for the Royals under Paul Ince and then spent two seasons at Charlton and made 55 appearances.
