Former Reading FC defender Tom Holmes is looking to reignite his career after he joined Rotherham United on a loan deal on transfer deadline day.
Holmes made his way up through the Reading academy before making his first-team debut in 2017 and went on to play 133 games in all competitions for his boyhood club.
He was one of several departures in January 2024 as he joined Luton Town, who at the time were in the Premier League, but rejoined Reading on loan for the remainder of the 2023/24 campaign.
He played 18 times for Luton last season, but they had a troubling season as they suffered a double relegation and dropped down to League One.
After struggling to break into the Luton side, he joined Belgian side Dender EH on a loan deal for the second-half of last season but only made one appearance.
The 25-year-old has now joined League One side Rotherham United on loan for the season.
