BERKS COUNTY got the better of EVERSLEY & CALIFORNIA on Monday with a 3-0 success.

A strike from Hayden put the Swords ahead and they doubled their lead before the break when Charlie Oakley netted.

Berks made their pressure tell when Oakley scored his second goal of the game to put the Swords in full control of the contest.

Eversley were reduced to 10 players when Joe Moriarty was sent off for denying a goal scoring opportunity as Berks sealed a 3-0 win

The result puts Berks top of the table after an imperious start that has seen them win five of their opening seven matches.

Meanwhile. the Boars are in ninth with nine points from their first six matches.

WOODLEY UNITED surrendered a two-goal lead away at AFC Aldermaston.

Jordan Blake’s team went two goals ahead with strikes from Jahson and Connor S.

But the hosts came roaring back to take the points with an impressive second-half comeback to win 3-2.

The Kestrels are eighth with nine points from six matches.

Isthmian South Central

BINFIELD have made an excellent start to their campaign after their double victory over the Bank Holiday weekend.

The Moles put four past Merstham at home before they travelled away to Basingstoke Town and collected all three points with goals from Connor Holland and Sean Moore.

Binfield are second in the table after their unbeaten start has put them on 10 points after four matches.
