A FINCHAMPSTEAD brewery is expanding by launching a new bar in Reading’s town centre.
Siren Craft Brew already has a tap room on Hogwood Industrial Estate, where it brews award-winning beers, and the George and Dragon pub in Swallowfield, which it took over in October 2021.
For its third site, it is hoping to open The Siren City Bar in the Ebb & Flow development being created between Reading Station and Friar Street.
In plans submitted to Reading Borough Council, it hopes to sell beers, show sporting events and let live music be performed.
Its operating licence, if approved, would allow it to stay open until 12.30am on weekend nights, and then 11pm Monday to Thursday.
Alcohol would be sold until midnight at weekends, and until 11pm Monday to Thursday. Food
